Quick and efficient charter bus transportation for Canadian military personnel.

Both in times of peace and crisis, the Canadian military’s experience in logistics, emergency medicine, and disaster response are an invaluable asset to every community in Toronto. While only a few bases and stations remain in the province of Ontario, the committed Armed Forces members — those on duty, reservists, and cadets — assure the safety, security, and emergency preparedness of the metropolitan area.

The Canadian military relies both on its own transportation as well as charter buses and shuttle services for numerous programs and missions. Bus.com is honored to be of service by providing affordable military charter buses at scale and efficient planning with 24-7 support.

School bus

A school bus is a lean, functional, and economical bus accommodating up to 47 passengers. Due to its minimalistic design, it is easier to disinfect and prepare for the next trip. A school bus military charter is an excellent choice for bringing recruits to the base, shuttling between the station and the training facilities, or carrying forces for emergency relief.

Canadian military compliance

Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and the Department of National Defence (DND) are the two main entities responsible for defining and enforcing the standard regulations for commercial charter buses, driver licensing, and hiring procedures. Bus.com Bus Partners have a selection of safe and secure military bus charters fully compliant with the requirements.

DND and CAF are responsible for transporting military personnel during both international and domestic missions and training exercises. The transportations should be accomplished safely, efficiently, and with a prudent approach to the costs. Commanding officers can hire commercial bus charters to their discretion, as long as the insurance and driver license fit the criteria.

Local military bases

Although CFB Toronto was closed, a military presence remains in Parc Downsview Park as the Canadian Division headquarters, several armories, Area Support Unit Toronto, and a few support, engineering, intelligence, cadets, and service groups.

CFB Kingston

CFB Kingston is the closest military base to Toronto to be dedicated to the highest possible quality of support and service of the 35 units it hosts. These units carry out essential operations for Canadian Armed Forces both on the territory of Canada and abroad, and the support allows them to focus on their missions. The base maintains a Military Family Resource Centre and various community and recreation services that cater to the families of the troops. The base hosts a recruiting center, health services, electronic warfare unit, military schools, and several units of Canadian Forces. It even has its own Military Communications and Electronics Museum.

The 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa

The 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa is the critical partner of the Petawawa Community, offering its ongoing protection, assistance, and services. All the base facilities, from outdoors recreational areas to fitness centers, are accessible to the residents of the Petawawa area. The primary mission of the 4th Canadian Division Support Base (4 CDSB) Petawawa is to support the units stationed in Garrison Petawawa and Garrison Toronto: 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group (2 CMBG), the Canadian Special Operations Regiment, 1st Canadian Field Hospital, 450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron and many others. With the majority of the personnel working outside of Petawawa’s central facilities, military bus shuttle rentals are essential for their comfortable commute.

4th Canadian Division

4th Canadian Division (4 Cdn Div) is one of the five major formations reporting to the Armed Forces headquarters and responsible for Canada’s defense obligations. It is the leading military unit headquartered in Toronto. It is serviced by the dedicated 4th Canadian Division Support Group (4 CDSG).
