Charter a bus rental to the Propsect Park Zoo
The Prospect Park Zoo lies on the eastern side of Prospect Park and is the most accessible wildlife park for Brooklyn visitors. But because the park lies within a beautiful expanse of protected green space in the city, the best way to get your group to and from the zoo is by renting a New York City charter bus so you don’t need to worry about finding or paying for parking.

Why charter a bus for the Propsect Park Zoo
There is so much to explore at the zoo, so you won’t want to waste any time (or money) finding and paying for parking. That’s why it’s great to arrive via a charter bus. You can fit your whole group onto one bus and not have to worry about carpooling or sharing the right driving directions. Once you’re done at the zoo, your coach bus, mini bus, or school bus can pick you up and drop you back off at your desired location. If you’re looking for an all-day transportation solution, you can even hire a New York City shuttle service to take you to multiple New York attractions.

About the Surrounding Area
There is a lot to see in Prospect Park aside from visiting the many animal exhibits at the zoo. Whether you get an early start and explore the park before or after your zoo visit, make sure to swing past the Prospect Park Carousel. This historic attraction has been operating in the park since 1912 and is open seasonally from March through November. The hand-carved horses and dragon-pulled chariots are enough to entice even the most seasoned visitors to go for a spin on the carousel.

About the Propsect Park Zoo
The Prospect Park Zoo is home to more than 860 animals that represent more than 175 different species. Exhibits focused on interesting animal lifestyles include the Lettered Aracari, Golden Lion Tamarin, Geoffroy’s Marmoset, and Pallas’s Cat. For visitors interested in “Barn and Garden” animals, exhibits include Alpaca, Shetland Sheep, and Juliana Pigs. There are also many exotic animals to encounter on the Discovery Trail and the zoo’s Hall of Animals is home to some of its smallest residents. The zoo’s noisiest residents arguably reside in Sea Lion Court. Visitors can get an up-close-and-personal glimpse of the sea lions during their daily “training sessions.” When planning your visit to the zoo, note that there are both indoor and outdoor exhibits. It’s important to plan ahead for the weather and know that most visitors spend an average of 1.5 to 2 hours exploring the zoo’s twelve total acres of exhibits and attractions. The zoo opens at 10 am every day and receives annual visitation in excess of 300,000 people.
