Getting around Beverly Hills is best done by renting a charter bus in Los Angeles with a private driver. Your group will be much more comfortable taking in the neighborhood while your driver worries about the best (and least trafficked routes) to get you from one landmark destination to another. Depending on your group’s size and need for certain amenities, you can consider renting a coach bus, school bus, mini coach bus, or minibus.
If your group is looking for outdoor attractions, be sure to check out the expansive Beverly Gardens Park, which is home to a number of fountains and rose gardens, in addition to an illuminated Beverly Hills sign. You might also be interested in the Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market, which is open every Sunday from 9am to 1pm. The market usually offers roughly 60 unique vendors. If you’re looking for interested historical attractions in Beverly Hills, check out the 1920s Greystone Mansion, which has been the backdrop for many famous movies. You can also stop by the Beverly Hills Hotel, which is set in beautiful tropical gardens and features a poolside cafe where you group can enjoy food and/or a cocktail. If nightlife is your thing, check out a few local spots such as The Bar Room, CBH Lounge, and Wally’s Beverly Hills.
In addition to being the home to many Hollywood actors and actresses, Beverly Hills is also home to loads of upscale shopping along Rodeo Drive. Despite its worldwide reputation, Beverly Hills is actually a relatively small town. It boasts a total regular population right around 35,000. But Beverly Hills is not just a place. It has also become an international symbol of fame, wealth, and the entertainment industry. The Beverly Hills neighborhood is divided into north and south sections by Santa Monica Boulevard. Pacific Electric once operated streetcars along their Red Line on Santa Monica, which is why locals still refer to the divided sections of the neighborhood as either “north of the tracks” or “south of the tracks”. Downtown Beverly Hills, which is also known as “The Golden Triangle,” is home to Rodeo Drive, the city’s farmers market, the public library, and much more.
