Formerly known as Daugherty Field, Long Beach Airport is one of the easier commercial service airports to fly in and out of in the greater Los Angeles area. It provides non-stop access to 18 destinations and is home to five airline carriers, including Delta, American, Hawaiian, and Southwest. The airport has been a staple of the Long Beach community for more than 95 years and is located just three miles northeast of downtown Long Beach.
