And there’s no better way to get your student group to and from any of these beach spots than renting a bus with a driver.
There’s so much to see and do in LA without getting sand in your skivvies. Whether you’re looking for a safe and comfortable alternative to flying, or simply need an easy-peasy pick up for your group from the airport, Bus.com can sort you out with the click of a button. Go low-key and budget-friendly with a school bus rental, or book a sleek, ultra deluxe coach bus, and pull up to your beachside digs looking like the cast of the hottest new reality show. Skiing isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think of LA, but there are actually quite a few resorts just a three hour or less bus ride from the city, including Snow Valley Mountain Resort, Mountain High, and Snow Summit and Big Bear Mountain Resorts in Big Bear (generally geared toward skiers and snowboarders, respectively).
The coach bus or mini coach bus are the best options for getting to the hill in total comfort, and with plenty of undercarriage storage space for luggage and gear. Plus, letting our experienced drivers navigate the snowy mountain roads for you is the safest and most stress-free way to get your group to the resort and back. Our ski trip planning checklist has all the info you need to plan the perfect snowy getaway.
Gimme a B! Gimme a U! Gimme an S! What’s that spell? Take your school’s sports fans on the road to shout your team’s rallying cries from the tops of the palm trees (just kidding, please don’t climb the palm trees). Chartering a Los Angeles bus rental is a great way to ramp up school spirit en route to the game, and gives you plenty of road time to learn new cheers and practice taunts for the Golden Eagles, the Bruins, or whoever you’re facing off against.
You can even get a custom wrap for your bus with your team colors and logo, and have ‘em shaking in their jerseys when you pull up to the tailgate party. We know budget is always a factor in the life of a student; luckily, there are plenty of ways to raise funds to cover the cost of transportation — yet another thing to cheer about!
While there are other ways to travel to an out of town sports rally, we’d say renting a charter bus is the best way to get pumped without being a nuisance to other travelers. Your own personal bus gives your group the luxury to be as loud and proud as they want – and let that energy spill out into the stands. For loads more tips and tricks, check out our guide to planning your perfect student sports rally trip.
LA and its surrounding area are home to some of the world’s top universities, such as USC, UCLA, and Caltech, to name a few, who collectively host a number of student conferences throughout the year.
Traveling to conferences by charter bus is a great way to ensure your students have ample time to prepare for presentations without having to deal with pesky layovers, or [shudder] airplane mode. If flying is the only option, you can arrange swift and reliable transportation to your hotel straight from the airport, and avoid the hassle and expense of separate taxis and Ubers. We can also help you organize a shuttle bus service to and from the conference venue, as well as between venues. A few clicks and a phone call from a Bus.com booking specialist and you’ll be all set up.
With Silicon Beach and other pockets throughout the city housing over 500 startups (and counting!), LA is a desirable city to venture to in the hopes of scoring a job, particularly in the tech industry. However, such a competitive field means that students absolutely have to be prepared to hit the ground running at job fairs.
Give your group the gift of concentration by booking door-to-door, comfortable bus transportation that is free of the distractions of traditional air or land travel. And, while the competition is busy figuring out how to get back to the hotel, your group will have already followed up with recruiters from the comfort of their private charter bus rental, and can spend the rest of the trip touring LA, hitting the beach, and simply having a great time, wherever the road might take them.
